YYC SUMMER PROGRAM
Classroom Setting
Classes are held on our vintage, Chris Craft 45 Commander Yacht @Riverside Marina, Detroit, MI.
Class on Saturdays from 9am-Noon (6 WEEKS).
Limited space available.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!
(Ages 8-15 years old)
1. Boaters Safety
Your child learns the importance of safe boating through instructional videos and Q and A. Thae receive a certificate of achievement. (2 weeks)
2. Motorized Boats
Your Child is taught the components motorized boats, their function and operation. A Certificate of achievement is issued.
(2 Weeks)
3. Basics of Fishing
Your child is taught the basics of fishing, from baiting the hook to catching a fish.
A fun learning experience.
4. Ride With A Captain
Your Child is shown the basics of Docking and Navigating a Vessel.
A Certificate of Completion is issued.
(Final Week of Summer Program)
5. Career Opportunities
At completion of our summer program, Your Child may be eligible to receive a Scholarship to become a Certified Boat Mechanic or Licensed Boat Captain. Career opportunities in the industry are thriving on a Local and Global basis for Engineering, Logistics, etc.
The possibilities are endless!
